Iaido - The Way of the Sword

There's no sparring in this art!  Looking in depth at the Japanese art of Drawing the Sword, (pronounced ee-eye-doh) our practice is all about the 12 set patterns of movement that all Iaido practitioners train in.

If you want something that you can lose yourself in, an art that is slightly more meditative, then Iaido is for you.  No huge classes, it's very much a specialised interest.

Training is at 7pm at the Karate Academy, Unit 1, Bradley Lane, Newton Abbot.  We have practice wooden swords (bokken) that you can use for your first visit.  Just call 01626 360999 to let us know that you are coming.
